Our traditional comfort hotel is located in a uniquely beautiful sunny location in the middle of a 13,000 square meter park-like garden. An oasis of peace and relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic with a view of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Despite the quiet location in the district of Oberschönau, you can easily reach the center of Schönau am Königsse, the main train station Berchtesgaden or the Königssee from the nearby bus stop or on foot. In the immediate vicinity you will find numerous hiking trails through the community of Schönau am Königssee. Our hotel offers you the optimal starting point for a variety of different excursion destinations in Schönau am Königssee and the Berchtesgadener Land. You can also reach our famous neighboring city of Salzburg in just 30 minutes by car. A vacation in the Berchtsgadener Land is also charming in winter. Schönau am Königssee offers a variety of different winter sports such as ski slopes, cross-country skiing trails, cleared winter hiking trails or natural toboggan runs. Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs to Berchtesgaden.You will pass through the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come to the large traffic circle at the Berchtesgaden train station. There, take the Schönau exit and drive uphill along Oberschönauer Straße. Follow Oberschönauer Straße for about 1.5 km until you see the sign "Stoll's Hotel Alpina". Turn left there and follow the road until you reach our hotel.
