Description

Our guesthouse Frauendorf in the heart of the community of Schönau a. Königssee, at the gates of the Berchtesgaden National Park invites you to take a vacation! Our lovingly and comfortably furnished vacation apartments all have a balcony with a wonderful view over the Berchtesgaden Alps. Despite the extremely quiet location, you can easily reach the bus stop, restaurants and shopping facilities on foot. Our guesthouse is an ideal starting point for wonderful hikes or bike and mountain bike tours in the unique mountain world of the Berchtesgaden National Park, for example to the picturesque Königssee or to the wildly romantic Wimbachklamm. A winter experience is offered by the well-maintained ski slopes and cross-country ski trails, cleared winter hiking trails and toboggan runs in the immediate vicinity. After an eventful day, our sauna and infrared cabin invite you to relax and unwind. On request, we can also organize a massage in the house for you.

Environment description

Our guesthouse is nestled in our mountains, starting from the Kehlstein, Mandlgrad, Hoher Göll, Hohes Brett, Jenner, Kahlersberg, Watzmann, Grünstein, Hochkalter , Reiteralpe, sleeping witch.

About the host

We are a family with two children and a dog and are very connected to our mountains. Nature and our mountains are very close to our hearts and we also want to show our guests the beautiful hikes.

Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs for Berchtesgaden.You will pass through the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come to the large traffic circle at the Berchtesgaden train station.From there take the exit for Schönau. You are now on the Oberschönauer Straße. Follow this road past some inns and guesthouses until you see a pizzeria and bakery on the right. Then turn left into Krennstraße. At the next intersection, turn right into Bodnerring. You are now in Bodnerring.
