Welcome to the Grutscherhäusl in the Berchtesgadener Land. You will find our Grutscherhäusl in the Alpine National Park Berchtesgaden not far from the famous Lake Königsee at the foot of the Watzmann. Our house is quietly and yet centrally located in the climatic health resort Schönau am Königssee. Enjoy the fantastic view of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Conveniently located, your accommodation is the ideal starting point for your undertakings and excursions around the picturesque Königssee with the world-famous Echo and the pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomä as well as the Jenner, which in summer is ideal as a start for a hut tour through the Steinerne Meer and in winter forms the largest ski area in the Berchtesgadener Land. There is also a bus stop in the immediate vicinity. Short distances to all important facilities such as tourist information, restaurants, graduation house with Kneipp facility and shopping facilities are easily accessible on foot.

The mentioned prices are plus spa tax of 3,10 Euro for adults, 1,55 Euro for children/youth from the 7th to the completed 16th year and 0,00 Euro for children from 0 - 6 years per person and day of stay (subject to change without notice).

Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs to Berchtesgaden.you drive through the villages Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come to the big traffic circle at the train station Berchtesgaden.you drive from the A8 Munich at Bad Reichenhall towards Berchtesgaden Bahnhof (traffic circle). From there, take the exit towards Königssee on the B20 , until you see a gas station on the left and a Mc Donald's on the right. Turn right on the side of the Mc Donald's. You are now on Schornstraße. After the bridge you will see our house on the left side.
