Enjoy the 360° panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden mountains from our sun terrace.Thanks to its central location, our hotel is an ideal starting point for your discovery tours. Not only in summer all nature lovers and hikers in the national park area Berchtesgaden get their money's worth. Also in winter Schönau am Königssee offers some attractions from the boat trip over the wintry Königssee to the skiing experience from the summit of the Jenner to the valley. Swimming pool and sauna provide relaxation after a hike.Our hotel has 20 double rooms, 12 single rooms and 2 suites or family rooms. All our rooms as well as the breakfast room, the reception area and the indoor swimming pool have been modernized and redesigned. Our rooms, all with balcony or terrace, let you feel the wonderful surroundings. From 14:00 - 18:00 our alpine café is open (Tuesday day off). On our sun terrace you will find the perfect place to regain your strength after a strenuous mountain hike and enjoy the magnificent view of the Berchtesgaden mountains.Our hotel is located in close proximity to the Königssee (2 km), the Jennerbahn (2.3 km) and the Schön Klinik (600 m).

Arrival Description

Your arrival is via the A 8 Munich-Salzburg freeway to the Bad Reichenhall exit. From there continue on the B 20 in the direction of Berchtesgaden. At the main station Berchtesgaden you drive in the newly built traffic circle to the exitKönigssee / Jenner. After 900 meters you leave the Königsseerstrasse and turn right to Schönau am Königssee. From here it is another 2.2 kilometers straight ahead through our village Schönau am Königssee. Drive to the crossing at the open-air swimming pool ( Schornbad ) and turn right there - direction Oberschönau. Now you have to drive up the hill and after 150 meters you come to the inn Waldhauser Bräu. Behind the inn you turn right again and drive over a parking lot ( in a slight right curve ) into Hanauerweg. From here it is only a few meters straight ahead to the hotel.We wish all our guests a good journey.
