Description

Hintersee's oldest inn with tradition, family-owned since 1879, former painters' hostel. Recognized good Bavarian cuisine, coffee with homemade cakes, snacks. Beautiful rooms adapted to the style, all with shower/WC and SAT-TV. Wonderful quiet location at the entrance to the national park. Lawn for sunbathing at the house brook. Starting point for wonderful hikes and mountain tours.

Arrival Description

Freeway Munich- Salzburg until exit Siegsdorf, continue on the B306 direction Berchtesgaden via Inzell, Weißbach until Unterjettenberg, from there on the B305 until Gasthof Wachterl. At the next turn-off turn right towards Hintersee. Drive to Hintersee, past the lake to the intersection "Abwzeigung Hirschbichlstr.", here turn right after about 250m comes our house on the right side.
