Our house is located close to the center of Schönau am Königssee. In just a few minutes walk you can reach shopping facilities, including a bakery, butcher and the tourist information. Numerous hiking trails, which are also cleared in winter, are also nearby. Schönau am Königssee offers the large family ski area on the Jenner, which with the new snowmaking system guarantees snow reliability down into the valley and promises skiing and snowboarding pleasure.The Alpine National Park has numerous hiking and mountaineering opportunities. Even hut hikes lasting several days are possible. The spacious apartment can accommodate up to six people, (ideal for families) has two separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, TV and balcony. Enjoy the fantastic view of the Berchtesgaden Alps and the Watzmann and Jenner mountains. Guests are provided with free WLAN.

Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (If you continue, VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs towards Berchtesgaden.You will pass through the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come down the Silbergstraße. Turn left to the large traffic circle at the Berchtesgaden train station.From there take the exit towards Königssee on the B20, at the end of the town turn right down Untersteinerstraße. You are now in the municipal area of Schönau am Königssee. Drive about 700m. Drive past the church.Up to the EDEKA market (on the right) and then turn right up into Waldhauserstraße.Our house comes after the Waldhauserbräu inn on the right.
