Description

Our house is located in the center of Schönau am Königssee. Good starting point for winter hikes, cross-country ski trail, Jenner ski area nearby. Restaurants and shopping facilities within 2 minutes walking distance. The beautiful footpath from Berchtesgaden to the Königssee can be reached quickly. Directly at the house is a bus stop from where you can go to the surrounding communities. Enjoy the unspoiled nature in the Alpine National Park and hike to the surrounding mountains, such as the Watzmann and Jenner. Ideal starting point for multi-day tours. We provide free WLAN for our guests.

Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs to Berchtesgaden.You will pass through the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come to the large traffic circle at the train station Berchtesgaden.From there take the exit to Königssee on the B20, at the end of the town turn right down Untersteinerstraße. You are now in the municipal area of Schönau am Königssee. Continue driving for about 1 km. Drive past the church. Continue for about 200m. Our house is on the right side before you can turn right uphill.
