Our guesthouse with 4 cozy and comfortably furnished apartments is located in the municipality of Schönau a. Königssee in the district of Schwöb just outside the gates of the Berchtesgaden National Park. From all balconies with south-west orientation you have a unique and unobstructed view of the Watzmann.We provide our guests of course free WLAN.In summer, kilometers of hiking trails, mountain bike tours and many other leisure activities offer an ideal basis for filled vacation days. We are also happy to answer questions about hikes and tours.Snow-covered ski slopes down to the valley, cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs and many idyllic winter hiking trails provide varied days in winter.Only a stone's throw away is the picturesque Königssee (distance 2.5 km) - reachable by car in a few minutes, in approx. 40 minutes on the Königssee footpath or by bus (bus stops of the Schönau line in just 200 m and the Königssee line in 300 m.).In just a few minutes walk you can reach a large Edeka market (about 600m) or REWE and Lidl (1.5 km).

The mentioned prices are plus visitor's tax of 3,10 Euro for adults, 1,55 Euro for children/youth from 7 to 16 years and 0,00 Euro for children from 0 to 6 years per person and day of stay (subject to change).

Arrival Description

Freeway A8 Munich-Salzburg, take the last exit in Germany "Bad Reichenhall"! If you miss this exit, continue on the highway to Austria - but beware here, however, vignette obligation (with fines of 120 euros). Follow the federal road to Berchtesgaden train station. At the traffic circle directly at the station, take the Königssee/Jennerbahn exit. After about 1 km take the first right exit to Schönau am Königssee. Follow the road downhill and then in the right-hand bend turn left into Schwöbgasse. Gästehaus Salzgau, Schwöbgasse 4, is the second house on the right side.
