A warm 'Grüß Gott' at Haus Waldrast ... spend unforgettable days in the beautiful Ramsau and in our loving, family-run pension. Choose between our four beautiful apartments and enjoy your vacation to the fullest! Ideally and yet quietly located, you start from the house already on numerous hiking trails. Restaurants, shopping facilities and bus stop are within 3 minutes walking distance. Also the mountain spa garden with brine bath, Kneipp facility and children's playground is within walking distance. Our large meadow with the magnificent mountain view to the Reiteralpe invites you to relax, barbecue or engage in various activities. Environment description

Our vacation apartments are located in a quiet, central valley location. Spa park, brine bath, restaurants, shopping facilities and bus stop are within 3 minutes walking distance. Our new wellness area with infrared cabin is available to our guests for a small fee.

About the host

In the 3rd generation we, Kerstin and Josef Maier jun. with our children, run our guesthouse and hope to offer something for every taste. You can expect free parking, free WLAN, a children's playground, a wellness area with infrared cabin home trainer and book corner as well as participation in the Vital Partner program. We will be happy to give you tips for your hikes or advise you on other matters. In winter, borrow our toboggans and explore the numerous toboggan runs. In addition, there is now the possibility to rent e-bikes for a fee!

The above prices are plus spa tax of 3,10 Euro for adults, 1,55 Euro for children/youth from 7 to 16 years old and 0,00 Euro for children from 0 - 6 years old per person and day of stay. (subject to change) Animals allowed, per animal Euro 8,00 per day (without food).

Arrival Description

Freeway Munich- Salzburg to exit Siegsdorf/Traunstein, continue on the B 306 direction Berchtesgaden, via Inzell, Weißbach to Unterjettenberg, from there on the B 305 via Gasthaus Wachterl to Ramsau Dorf. After the Haus des Gastes after about 400m on the left side.

Ein ruhiges freundliches Haus in traumhafter Lage. Wir lieben Ramsau, nicht nur unserer Tochter wegen, die dort seit 6 Jahren lebt, sondern weil die Lage als Ausgangspunkt für diverse Wanderungen vorzüglich ist. Wir kennen die Region und werden immer wieder kommen.

Die Gastgeberfamilie war super freundlich. Die Wohnung war sauber und der Ausblick einfach herrlich. Die Sauna im Außenbereich war erholsam

Which negative impressions did you have?

Die Aufteilung der Räume lädt nur bedingt zur Gemütlichkeit und zum Wohlfühlen ein. Wir fanden die Erdgeschosswohnung im Winter leider zu dunkel. Dazu kam, dass das Licht im Flur kaputt war und während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht repariert wurde. Zudem ist die Wohnung hellhörig und das Internet funktionierte im Wohnbereich nur geringfügig, um dort arbeiten zu können. Für den Preis haben wir leider schon schönere Wohnungen gehabt und würde nicht noch einmal wiederkommen. Antwort des Gastgebers: "Vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback. Es tut uns leid, dass Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts Unannehmlichkeiten erlebt haben. Wir nehmen solche Rückmeldungen sehr ernst, da es uns wichtig ist, dass sich unsere Gäste wohlfühlen. Die von Ihnen genannte Wohnung wurde vor Kurzem komplett renoviert, und wir freuen uns, dass sie Ihnen grundsätzlich gefallen hat. Wir möchten auch klarstellen, dass unsere Wohnung nicht für berufliche Zwecke ausgestattet ist, was auch in den Beschreibungen so kommuniziert wird. Das Wlan wurde überprüft und funktioniert ohne Probleme. Wir möchten ebenfalls darauf hinweisen, dass die geografische Lage der Wohnung durch die umliegenden Berge im Winter tendenziell dunkler ist, was in dieser Jahreszeit für einige Gäste überraschend sein kann. Wir versuchen stets, solche Details im Vorfeld klar zu kommunizieren, jedoch muss dazu gesagt werden, dass die Leuchtmittel ausreichend Licht liefern. Des Weiteren möchten wir anbringen, dass wir unsere Gäste darum bitten, ihre Tiere nicht allein zu lassen. Dies war jedoch der Fall bei Ihnen, und der Hund hat am Sonntag ab sieben Uhr morgens ununterbrochen gebellt, was zu Beschwerden anderer Gäste geführt hat. Wir bedauern, dass Sie mit Ihrem Aufenthalt nicht vollständig zufrieden waren, hoffen jedoch, dass die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten durch diesen Vorfall nicht Ihre Bewertung der Wohnung beeinflusst haben.
