Description

Our house is located in a quiet yet central location at the foot of the Grünstein and offers an ideal starting point for hikes, walks and mountain tours. The nearby Königssee, as well as the heated outdoor pool, restaurants and stores, the bobsleigh and toboggan run and also the Jennerbahn can be easily reached on foot. In winter, ski lifts and cross-country ski trails are also within easy reach. Also in winter many hikes and walks are possible. Only a few minutes walk away you will find the nearest cross-country ski trail, which runs through the entire municipal area. The skiing area at the Jenner can also be reached in a few minutes by car. The bobsleigh and toboggan run at Königssee can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. The prices mentioned are plus spa tax of EUR 3.10 for adults, EUR 1.55 for children/youth from 7 to 16 years of age and EUR 0.00 for children from 0 - 6 years of age per person and day of stay (subject to change). There is the possibility to use our bread service every day. Also various drinks can be obtained in the house. A grill place in the garden is available

Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs towards Berchtesgaden.You will pass through the villages of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come to the large traffic circle at the train station Berchtesgaden.From there take the exit towards Königssee on the B20, at the end of the village turn right down Untersteinerstraße. You are now in the municipal area of Schönau am Königssee. Drive past the church until you reach the EDEKA market (on the right) and then turn right uphill. At the pharmacy turn left into Artenreitring. At the next crossing turn right into Artenreitweg, you will find our house immediately on the left side.
