Our mountain climber apartment Untersberg is furnished with great attention to detail. The furnishing style is rural/modern. All textiles and decorations are matched to each other. The apartment offers a combined living/bedroom with double bed and comfortable seating area, cowhide and tiled stove. Original, on canvas drawn mountain climber motives from the 30's round off the ambience. In addition, the apartment has a separate storage room and a spacious and new bathroom with shower / WC. To the apartment also belongs a small furnished, south-facing balcony with views of the Watzmann. 2 bathrobes and vacuum cleaner available.

Description

The Kranvoglmühle is located at 890 m above sea level at the Faselsberg in Schönau a. Königssee. The house is built in regional rural style.The unique location offers an unobstructed view of the entire Berchtesgaden valley with its mountains and is an ideal starting point for hiking. The house and the apartments are newly renovated and offer peace and relaxation. Due to the altitude, our house is accessible in winter only with four-wheel drive vehicles. We provide free WLAN for our guests.

Environment description

Der Faselsberg gehört zur Gemeinde Schönau am Königssee. In nächster Umgebung befindet sich der Eingang zum Nationalpark Berchtesgaden mit seiner wunderschönen Gebirgslandschaft. Über die Vorderbrandstraße erreichen Sie auch den Wanderparkplatz Hinterbrand, das Eingangstor zum Nationalpark Berchtesgaden und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ihre Wanderungen rund um den Jenner (1.874 m ü. NHN). Über die Scharitzkehlstraße gelangen Sie zur Dokumentation Obersalzberg und zum Ausgangspunkt für Ihre Kehlsteintouren. Weiter führt die Obersalzbergstraße zur Panoramastraße am Roßfeld. Vom hoch gelegenen Aussichtspunkt blicken Sie hinauf zum Hohen Göll (2.522m ü. NHN), der höchste Gipfel im Göllmassiv am Ostrand der Berchtesgadener Alpen und hinunter in die österreichische Grenzstadt Salzburg. 
Von der Kranvoglmühle aus erreichen Sie den Ortsteil Berchtesgaden und auch die Gemeinde Schönau am Königssee mit dem PKW in wenigen Minuten.

Sonja Holzinger – ich bin Ihre Gastgeberin und Ihr Kontakt per Mail und am Telefon.

Unsere Familie wohnt in der Kranvoglmühle seit Generationen. Seit 2012 betreiben wir eine Ferienvermietung. Aktuell bieten wir unser Ferien Apartment "Dahoam" für zwei Personen an. Ich habe viel Herzblut in diese Ferienwohnung gesteckt. Mir ist es sehr wichtig, dass sich unsere Gäste in unserem Haus willkommen und rund um wohl fühlen!

Die Kranvoglmühle, ein Haus mit Tradition, wurde um 1864 erbaut und früher als Getreidemühle genutzt. In der Zwischenzeit wurde unser Haus mehrfach umgebaut, renoviert und saniert. 

Ich bin ein bodenständiger Familienmensch und hier oben am Faselsberg fühle ich mich zu Hause und ich bin mit der Kranvoglmühle sehr verbunden und verwurzelt. Am Berg zu wohnen und zu leben, empfinde ich als Geschenk und als Privileg. 
Privat bin ich mit meinem Mann sehr gerne in unserer wunderschönen Natur unterwegs.

Ich genieße täglich die atemberaubende Aussicht von unserem Haus. Mein Lieblingsmotiv ist der Watzmann. Er zeigt sich je nach Tages– und &nbs

Arrival Description

Coming from the A8, take the Bad Reichenhall exit to Berchtesgaden. At the traffic circle at the Berchtesgaden train station, first turn towards Königssee, after 500 m turn left towards Faselsberg and after about 2.5 km uphill you will reach Vorderbrandstr. 71. The single-lane access road to our house is about 300 m long.
