The bright attic apartment "Wanderlust" was only 2014 fundamentally renovated and newly furnished with great attention to detail. You should want for nothing during the most beautiful days of the year and therefore we have placed great emphasis on high-quality furnishings and combine a modern living style with alpine coziness for you. The quiet non-smoking apartment is located on the 2nd floor and from the spacious balcony you can enjoy a fascinating view of Kehlstein, Hoher Göll and Jenner. The apartment is 51 sqm and is ideally suited for 2 people. A third person will also find enough space on the extendable corner sofa. The special features include the spacious living / dining area with comfortable corner bench, large dining table and hatch to the kitchen on one side and 55-inch flat-screen TV, Playstation and large, extendable sofa landscape on the other side. A modern bathroom according to the latest standards with feel-good shower, underfloor heating, towel warmer and heated mirror lets you start the day well. The bedroom offers you a comfortable box spring bed (1,80m x 2,00m) and a second TV. The separate kitchen is extensively equipped, including a dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob with 4 plates and extractor fan and microwave. The furnished balcony guarantees cozy and quiet hours. In the entire apartment we have also installed an individual and variable LED lighting for you. You are welcome to make unlimited use of free WLAN. Just like the washing machine and dryer in the basement of the house, which you share with the guests from our other vacation apartment. We have reserved a parking space for you in the house's own underground garage. Our vacation apartment has been classified with 4 stars according to the classification system of the German Tourism Association.

Our second apartment "Gipfelsturm", also located in the attic, we have renovated for you only in 2017 and fundamentally redesigned with great attention to detail. We continue our popular concept and offer you high-quality furnishings and a modern living style combined with alpine coziness. The quiet non-smoking apartment is located on the 2nd floor. Enjoy the sunset in the lounge sofa on the spacious balcony with a direct view of Watzmann and Hochkalter. The apartment is 40 sqm and is best suited for 2 people. A third person can be accommodated on the pull-out corner sofa if required. We have used the floor plan optimally and so the combined living and sleeping area is visually separated from each other by a wall with a passageway. In the living/dining area, a 50-inch flat-screen TV and a cozy dining area with table, bench and 2 chairs await you next to the spacious sofa. A modern bathroom of the latest standard with wellness shower, underfloor heating, towel warmer and heated mirror lets you start the day well. In the sleeping area you will find a high-quality box spring bed (1.80m x 2.00m) and plenty of storage space. The separate kitchen is extensively equipped, including a dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob with 4 plates and extractor fan and microwave, as well as high-quality kitchen utensils. Modern and cozy at the same time - a warm welcome to our two vacation apartments, renovated only in 2017 and 2014 respectively, located in the sunny district of Oberschönau. The very well-kept house with a total of 7 apartments is located in one of the most beautiful locations in the Berchtesgadener Land and offers you peace and short distances at the same time. Our two apartments are distributed over the attic of the house on the 2nd floor. The magnificent all-round view of the mountains of Berchtesgaden will inspire you. The nearest bus stop is only 300 m or 5 minutes walk away. The first hiking trails start not far from the house and you can reach the Königssee in 4.5 km. Also just a 5-minute walk away is a small cafe. The small village center of Oberschönau with bakery, butcher, kiosk and pub is 900 m away, the center of Schönau with among others tourist info, town hall, outdoor pool and pharmacy is a good 2 km away. The Schön-Klinik Berchtesgaden is also just 2.5 km away. Free WLAN is available for our guests.

Arrival Description

By car: Coming from the A8 Munich-Salzburg, take the Bad Reichenhall exit. Please note: Coming from Munich, this is the last exit before the border with Austria. After that there is a vignette obligation! From the Bad Reichenhall exit, follow the signs to Berchtesgaden. Directly at the entrance to Berchtesgaden you will reach the train station and a large traffic circle on your left. At the traffic circle, take the first exit directly towards Schönau (one exit before REWE and Intersport). You drive up the hill until you reach the place name sign Oberschönau. In Oberschönau take the second left into Modereggweg and keep left at the next fork in the road. House number 5 is slightly set back and you will find the house entrance via a short garden path at the back of the house.By train: Take the train to Berchtesgaden station. At the station forecourt take the public bus number 843 direction Schönau, get off at the stop "Haus Ahorn". On foot, opposite the bus stop into Modereggweg, you will reach house number 5 after a few easy minutes' walk. Or you can take a cab at the station forecourt for about 10,- EUR.
