The interplay of historical components such as the wooden ceiling, the old infilled doors and the modern furnishing style creates a very special atmosphere and a unique living feeling. The fitted kitchen is well equipped with everything that belongs in a modern kitchen. So you can prepare your coffee either in a Nespresso or a filter coffee machine, and all other important appliances and accessories are available. A small bistro table at the large kitchen window invites you to enjoy a cozy espresso.Directly adjacent to the kitchen is the beautiful dining room with views over Berchtesgaden. It is equipped with a large dining table, a modern fireplace and a reading chair.Sleeping is in a Swiss stone pine bedroom known for its special sleeping properties. The cozy double bed with loden headboard, premium mattresses and comfort-size bedding ensure restful nights. A flat-screen TV is also available as well as blackout curtains to sleep in undisturbed.The modern daylight bathroom with spacious walk-in shower has underfloor heating, towel dryer and a high-quality natural stone sink. WELCOME TO THE HOFMUSIKERHAUS BERCHTESGADEN. In a unique location above the roofs of Berchtesgaden sits the historic Hofmusikerhaus. In just a few minutes you can walk to the center of town with its restaurants, cafes and stores, and just as quickly you can be back in your own garden or apartment. The elaborately and lovingly generalsaniertes house on the rock offers its guests unforgettable vacation experiences. Thus, each tenant can relax in their own idyllic garden, sleep in pine beds and enjoy the cozy warmth of a fireplace in the dining room. The Hofmusikerhaus with its exposed location, the magnificent view over Berchtesgaden and the mountains and the high-quality equipment like you inspire.

About the host

In the summer of 2018, a dream came true for us, we received the unique opportunity to buy an old Berchtesgaden house in an extraordinary location and carefully renovate it.We, that is Christine and Engelbert Aigner. Deeply rooted in Berchtesgaden and grateful every day for the wonderful area in which we are allowed to live, we have always felt a great interest in extraordinary places and special houses in our home. And indisputably these characteristics apply in a special way to the Hofmusikerhaus. So the decision was quickly made that we wanted to breathe new life into this jewel in the heart of Berchtesgaden.Admittedly, we weren't exactly bored before either.... together we have been running a traditional business in the heart of Berchtesgaden for many years and that gives us just as much pleasure, but we could not resist the Haus am Felsen. After our sons Engelbert and Michael, both lederhosen makers, worked with great dedication in the traditional costume store and lederhosen making, we were able to put a lot of time into planning and renovation for two years.

The above prices are plus spa tax of 3.10 euros for adults, 1.55 euros for children/young people from the age of 7 to the completed 16th year and 0.00 euros for children from 0 - 6 years per person and day of stay (subject to change).We offer full WLAN coverage throughout the house and also in the garden.Upon request, we will be happy to provide you with a lockable room to store your bicycles.Retreat to your own private garden. To each apartment belongs a garden area on the three sides of the house, so your privacy is maximally preserved.Gladly we change your laundry during a longer stay in our house.For you a parking space is reserved in the underground garage in the center of Berchtesgaden. On arrival and departure, access to the house is possible.Gladly we carry out an intermediate cleaning during a longer stay.
