Welcome to our charming holiday flat in Schönau am Königssee!

Our house is situated in a marvellous location, surrounded by woods and meadows, with a wonderful and all-day sunny panoramic view of the mountains.

A free car park, secure storage facilities for bicycles in the garden shed as well as a barbecue and a small, cosy garden exclusively for our guests are available. Our house is a non-smoking house, but you are welcome to enjoy a cigarette on the balcony or in the garden. Pets are not allowed. Free WLAN is available in the entire apartment.

Environment description

You will be staying at the ideal starting point for hikes, mountain and cycle tours, which can begin right on the doorstep.

You can reach many excursion destinations in just a few minutes: the Königssee and the Jenner (4.3 km), the salt mine (4 km) as well as the Eagle's Nest and the Obersalzberg documentation centre (6.4 km). The market town of Berchtesgaden is 3 km away and the city of Salzburg is 20 km away. The Hintersee is 12 km away.

Shopping facilities and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity and within easy walking distance. A bus stop is a five-minute walk away.

The prices quoted do not include the visitor's tax of 3.10 euros for adults, 1.55 euros for children/young people aged 7 to 16 and 0.00 euros for children aged 0-6 per person and day of stay. (subject to change)

Arrival Description

By car:

Take the A8 motorway from Munich in the direction of Salzburg. Take the Piding exit and continue on the B20 via Bad Reichenhall to Berchtesgaden. Shortly before Berchtesgaden you will come to the B305. At the large railway station roundabout, take the first exit in the direction of Schönau a. Königssee (cemetery). Follow the road for about two kilometres and you will find Haus Justine on the right-hand side. Alternatively: Continue on the A8 motorway to Austria on the A1. Take the Salzburg Süd exit and drive via Markt Schellenberg to Berchtesgaden (please note: toll stickers are compulsory on the motorway in Austria!)

By train:

Take the S4 from Freilassing to Berchtesgaden. From Berchtesgaden railway station, take bus 843A (Oberschönau) in the direction of Schönau. Get off at the bus stop ‘Haus Ahorn’, our house is only a few minutes' walk away. We wish you a pleasant journey and look forward to your visit!
