The apartment Watzmann offers space for max. 3 persons. The apartment is located on the second floor of our house. As there is a somewhat steep staircase leading to this apartment, it is more suitable for younger guests. It consists of a large eat-in kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a room with a single bed and a bathroom (incl. WC and shower).

Description

Welcome to our family-run farm in the middle of an idyllic mountain world! Our farm is home to horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, cats and a dog - ideal for animal lovers, families with children and nature-loving guests. We are an old estate and are located in the Unterau about 60 meters above the gentian distillery Grassl. The Unterau is located between Berchtesgaden and Marktschellenberg about 5 km outside the center of Berchtesgaden.
Our farm covers 18 ha, of which 7 ha are meadows. In addition, you are in an absolutely quiet location and yet central. Enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and the original charm of rural life.

Environment description

You can start hiking directly from the house (Kneifelspitze or Almbachklamm) or set off on a variety of tours in the Berchtesgaden valley basin with only a short car/bus ride (we are happy to help with any questions) - ideal for walkers, hikers and nature lovers. The Aldi supermarket is about a 5-minute walk from us. If you are traveling by public transport, the Enzianbrennerei bus stop is also about a 5-minute walk away. Thanks to your guest card, you can also use the bus within Berchtesgaden free of charge. After a 10-minute walk, you can visit the popular Grassl gentian distillery (https://www.enzian-grassl.com/) and sample numerous types of schnapps and liqueurs free of charge. Lukas is the manager at Grassl and will be happy to answer any questions or make recommendations. Salzburg is also only about 15 minutes away by car or bus.

About the host

We (Lukas and Verena) took over the beautiful Brochenberglehen at the beginning of 2025. With a lot of love we would like to offer our guests an unforgettable time in our vacation apartments.
We incorporate our passion for nature, animals and hospitality into the design of life on the farm. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing the idyllic setting of our farm with you. Whether for a relaxing vacation, a family trip or a break from everyday life - we always strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The prices quoted do not include the visitor's tax of EUR 3.10 for adults, EUR 1.55 for children/young people from 7 to 16 years of age and EUR 0.00 for children from 0 - 6 years of age per person and day of stay (subject to change).

Arrival Description

Our farm is easily accessible from Bad Reichenhall as well as from Salzburg via the B 305 highway.

B 305 Salzburger Straße (at Unterau) - turn off Reckensbergstraße - immediately after the chapel turn left onto our private driveway (not suitable for large motorhomes)
